Session 4: How to plan a Long-term HP Program in practice (1) - My long-term program
Session 4 begins a three part examination of my long-term HP program.
How the program is prepared physically,
How it is presented to the patient.
Examines the Main Program and the Supplementary Program which are built into the one kit.
The remedies used together with their potencies and the timing of delivery are listed.
Changes in the program in 2012 are discussed and the six objectives of the program are listed.
Demonstration of using research data that not all HP programs are the same.
Implications for practical prescribing are discussed.

 

Session 5: Long-term HP in practice (2) - Commonly asked questions
How you can answer 68 commonly asked questions by parents using the long-term HP program. 
If you can comfortably answer these questions, it  shows that the practitioner has a thorough understanding of all practical aspects of HP.

 

Session 6: Long-term HP in Practice (3) – The HP Consultation. Patient's decisions.
HP consultation - how to present HP to parents who are considering whether to use HP or vaccination.
The crucial step - The decisions parents must make are discussed.
We review the selection of remedies to be used in a long-term HP program.
Finally, the controversial topic of antibodies and HP is raised and clarified.

 

Session 7: Evidence of effectiveness (1)
Why measures of effectiveness are so important.
Four types of evidence are identified, and in this Session the first three are discussed – historical use; the effectiveness of short-term use, and the effectiveness of long-term use.
Statistical tests to validate the measure of long-term effectiveness are shown. The need to consider all measures as an integrated whole is discussed.

 

Session 8: Evidence of effectiveness (2)
Examining the effectiveness of HP-  We analyse in some detail recent massive HP interventions in Cuba and India. These interventions, supported by governments and carried out usually by people with orthodox scientific qualifications, have been provided to literally millions of people. They have been an unqualified success, and have provided massive amounts of data to support the effectiveness of HP.

 

Session 9: Evidence of safety
Session 9 is devoted to a thorough examination of the short-term and the long-term safety of my main HP program. Research data is presented on a range of safety issues.
Reactions to my long-term HP program are analysed in detail, and conclusions drawn.
In particular, data from my General health Study conducted as part of my doctoral research is presented.
This data allows the reader to make and present quantitative differentials between the safety of vaccination and the safety of HP to patients.

 

Session 10: Common philosophical issues
In Session 10, eight different philosophical aspects of HP are discussed; aspects which are often controversial in the homeopathic community.
The issue include whether we should only treat when there are symptoms is raised,
Whether HP should only use GE remedies in epidemics,
Whether we are preventing or treating when we use HP, and the length of prevention.
The topics covered should give the reader confidence that they can respond to any questions asked from within the homeopathic community.

 

Session 11: Mechanism of action
In Session 11 we examine the possible mechanism of action of HP - and we compare two possible explanations of how it works. The “proving model” and the “energetic model” are outlined. The latter involves a consideration of our energetic anatomy.

 

Session 12: Conclusions
In Session 12 we shall draw together material from the previous 11 sessions. But in addition we shall revisit parts of the course where participants asked repeated questions to ensure any unresolved issues are fully covered.

 

Session 13 - Discussing the Instructions
In session 13,  we shall look through each page of the instructions to parents and discuss important points. At the end Isaac will show you how to make additions to the Status Sheet when adding additional remedies
